“ We frequent a few South Tampa Buddy Brew locations on weekends, but favor Bay to Bay location. We recently purchased a pretty expensive espresso machine so we could enjoy daily Cortados at home but were on the verge of returning the machine because we were so dissatisfied with the results. We had purchased a bag of beans from another roaster that we were less than impressed with so we decided to purchase a bag of espresso beans from Buddy Brew to make sure the issue was the machine and not the beans. Even though we arrived at the Bay to Bay location just before closing, Jerry took the time to explain (and demonstrate) machine settings and other techniques to get the best results. Needless to say now that we have the fresh and delicious Buddy Brew roasted espresso beans coupled with pro tips from Barista Jerry, we're keeping the machine. ”

“ Always love to share a moment of integrity. My server this morning made the easy mistake of forgetting to add an extra shot of espresso to my drink which I never would have known to be honest. Rather than avoiding it, he came over to me and gave me the extra shot and apologized. I just thought that was cool and I think a lot of people would not have made it a point to be so forthright. I will definitely be coming back just because of this level of service and integrity. ”

“ I have been to several locations and the Bay to Bay and Hyde Park are the best in my opinion!! While parking is tough in peak hours, the service is quick and the food is good. Their biscuits are buttery and delicious. I get the bacon biscuit which comes with a yummy poached egg and the latte is solid. I wish there was another option for the fruit side other than oranges but most people like oranges so that’s just me. A tad pricey but hits every time! ”
